For years, I’ve been focused on personal work, primarily in street photography. Along the way, I set aside portrait photography and commissioned projects, but the desire to create portraits has never really left me. This project marks a new chapter, a relaunch of my portrait work and a step toward accepting commissions again.
To start, my wife and I went out for a portrait session to help me get back into the rhythm. Moving forward, my creative direction will combine both film and digital photography, bringing together the character of film and the flexibility of digital in my portrait work.
One of my goals is to create a photo book for every portrait commission. Photography for me, is not complete until it is printed. Offering a physical product will become a core part of my service, giving clients something tangible that can be enjoyed for years to come.
This is a long term vision that I’m excited to build here in Japan, and I can’t wait to connect with you all soon.
Carlo,
